Spinneys has unveiled a meal kit delivery concept under its SpinneysFOOD label
The new SpinneysFOOD meal kits bring to customers a convenient way to shop and cook, with the added safety of pre-packaged ingredients. The meal kits have been developed by local chefs with a focus on fresh ingredients and easy step-by-step cooking instructions.
The kits will launch both in-store and online with four recipes and will be added to every fortnight. Expect a mix of meat, fish and vegetarian options serving up to two people per meal kit. The first batch of recipes includes a Mushroom & Butternut Risotto, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Roasted Salmon & Root Vegetables with a crème fraiche dip and a Thai Prawn Curry.
All SpinneysFOOD products are produced or sourced with complete traceability from the supermarket’s partners who share their values on quality and sustainability – and maintain the highest food safety standards. Committed to the health and wellbeing of its customers and the environment, the company’s mantra ‘Eat Well, Live Well’ is reflected in its product offering and the implementation of sustainability practices.
In addition to this, Spinneys will be introducing a subscription-service on Spinneys.com, once all recipes have been introduced to the range. Each meal kit is priced at AED 50 or 60, depending on the recipe.
