Caprese on a Stick
I’m always looking for a fresh appetizer or side dish that I can bring to get togethers. These Caprese on a Stick are a bite sized appetizer that everyone loves. I love the traditional Caprese Salad but it always seems to get a little mushy in the tomato area.
That’s why I love these. They’re portable appetizers that are fresh and light! One bite and you’re done.
All you need for these Caprese on a Stick are mozzarella balls, basil, and cherry or grape tomatoes. Add a little balsamic vinegar and you’re done!
What is fresh mozzarella? How is it different from regular mozzarella?
Fresh mozzarella is a semi-soft Italian cheese made from a cow. Fresh mozzarella is usually stored in its own liquid.
What is a balsamic glaze?
It’s just a reduction of balsamic vinegar. It’s thicker and the flavor is more concentrated.
And if you love this Caprese on a Stick, you’ll love these recipes:
