Celebrate your graduate with this festive Graduation Snack Board covered in a tasty assortment of snacks that everyone will enjoy!
Let me start off by congratulating all of the graduates out there! You should be so proud of yourselves for such an amazing accomplishment, especially you college and high school graduates. Graduation will probably be very different than you had imagined or planned for, but you should still be celebrated and feel special during this momentous time in your life. Whether you’re graduating from college, high school, middle school, kindergarten, or even the little preschoolers, this graduation-themed snack board would be so perfect to celebrate with!
From the 2020 candy-filled dishes across the middle of the board and the letter cookies spelling out “CONGRATS GRAD” to the adorable graduation cap candies and diploma cookies, it’s so perfect for snacking on during the virtual graduation ceremony or party that follows.
Let me walk you through how simple this board is to recreate. I went with the color scheme of black, neutrals and red, but you could make it even more festive by incorporating colors from the school that your graduate is graduating from. Replace the red M&M’s and the red Twizzlers with different colors as well as the candies across the middle or even the cookies if you can find yummy snacks that match the colors of the school.
I started by placing the 2020 candy dishes in the middle of a 20″ round walnut wood board. I filled them with Milk Duds, Hershey’s Almond Chocolate Kisses, Trader Joe’s sea salt & turbinado sugar dark chocolate almonds, and Trader Joe’s gold-wrapped dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
At the top of the board, I placed 8 Oreos with a letter cookie on each one to spell out CONGRATS. At the bottom of the board, I placed 4 Oreos with a letter cookie on each one to spell out GRAD.
I placed popcorn above and below the 2020 candy dishes. On the bottom, I lined Fudge Stripe Cookies on either side of the GRAD letter cookies up to the candy dishes.
I saw several adorable graduation cap candy creations and diploma cookie creations all over Pinterest and couldn’t resist recreating them for this board.
To make the graduation cap candies, I used a dark chocolate peanut butter cup turned upside down as the base with a mini dark chocolate Ghiradelli bar upside down and attached to the top of it with some cookie icing and then a string of Twizzlers Pull ‘n’ Peel attached to the top middle with some cookie icing and a red M&M on top of it. So easy and super cute!
For the diploma cookies, I cut Chocolate Hazelnut Pirouettes in half and knotted a half of a string of Twizzlers Pull ‘n’ Peel around each one. So simple, cute and yummy yum!
I placed the graduation cap candies and diploma cookies on top of the popcorn with some diploma cookies on the top sides of the board.
So many fun and yummy treats to choose from on this celebratory board. Mostly sweet with the salty popcorn to balance it out a bit. It’s a pretty sweet celebration after all!
Once again, a huge congratulations to all the graduates and their families! I hope you feel proud and celebrated and I wish you the very best in this next chapter of your life that you are about to begin.
Enjoy celebrating and hopefully this Graduation Snack Board inspires you to create a festive and snackable board for your celebration.
