Apple Cider Syrup

Sweet and tart apple cider syrup; perfect for pancakes!

One thing that I enjoy about fall is the fresh apple cider and in addition to drinking it, it can be reduced and used as a syrup! This is barely a recipe in that you simply simmer some apple cider along with a sweetener, like maple syrup, until it gets all nice and syrupy and good! This apple cider syrup tastes like apples and it has a slight tartness in addition to the sweetness from the maple syrup that is such an amazing combination! Drench your pancakes, waffles, french toast, etc with this apple cider syrup or use it in mixed drinks of as a sweetener in other recipes!
