This is such an amazing and flavor-packed burger. I’m definitely partial here, but trust me, you will love them. Try not to skip any of the add ons below.. the tsatziki and Greek Salsa set these apart. I love them and can’t wait to make them again!!
Burger Ingredients:
- 1/2 red onion, rough chop
- 3 garlic cloves, rough chop
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 lb ground lamb (or turkey)
- 1/3 cup bread crumb
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
- 4 buns
Tsatziki Ingredients:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 small cucumber, seeded, finely grated & squeezed
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp lemon zest + 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tbs fresh dill, chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
Greek Salsa:
- 1 large tomato, fine chop
- 1 medium cucumber, fine chop
- 1/4 red onion, fine chop
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tbs fresh dill, chopped
- dash of olive oil
- salt to taste
Directions:
In a food processor, pulse the onion, garlic & parsley until combined & finely chopped. In a large bowl, combine all of the burger ingredients, using your hands, until all are incorporated in the meat. Form your patties. Cook on grill pan – 5 minutes per side – on medium heat (or until cooked through).
Prepare Tsatziki by whisking all ingredients together and storing in refrigerator to chill.
Prepare Greek Salsa in a medium bowl by tossing all ingredients together.
Yields 4 servings.
