Adobo is a sauce, marinade or seasoning that is common in Spanish cuisines and the Mexican style adobo typically contains dried chilies, garlic, oregano, cumin and vinegar. It is so easy to make your own, and a good one, that once you try it you will never go back to store bought! You simply soak the dried chilis in just boiled water until they are tender and then puree all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth! Once you’ve made the adobo you can use it to marinate meats, as a sauce in your burritos, as a salsa to squirt onto your tacos, etc.
