The inaugural Michelin Guide to Vancouver has been revealed with eight restaurants picking up a one-star rating.
The one-star rating is given to restaurants that offer ‘High quality cooking’ based on the following judging criteria: ‘quality of the ingredients used, mastery of flavour and cooking techniques, the personality of the chef in his [or her] cuisine, value for money and consistency between visits.’ Learn more about how Michelin stars are awarded.
No restaurants were awarded two stars or Michelin’s highest rating of three stars in the Michelin Guide to Vancouver 2022. The Guide is Michelin’s second foray into Canada, following its recent arrival in Toronto.
