A Problem Solver’s Breakfast

An almost-empty jar of peanut butter always presents a bit of a conundrum. Toss it and feel bad (waste not want not!) or dig in and get messy? As tasty as it is to lick peanut butter off your knuckles when you’re trying to get the most out of the container, I have a tidier alternative. A practical and delicious alternative. These Peanut Butter Jar Overnight Oats take the dregs of your favorite peanut butter, add bananas, oats and milk and make an easy, healthy, yummy breakfast. Mix it in, shake it up, leave it in the fridge and voila! You’re gonna wish you ran through peanut butter quicker.

Hint, Hint! Itching to try this overnight oats recipe but there’s too much peanut butter in your jar? I can help with that! My 4-Ingredient Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies are chewy with a slight crunch and extremely delicious. Or maybe a cool and creamy No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie?

Oats, peanut butter, mashed bananas and milk. It really doesn’t get any easier, friends. Just remember to keep the same 1:1 ration of oats to milk for best results. The rest happens while you sleep! My favorite part is that when I wake up in the morning, my breakfast is already waiting! I love to eat it cold, right out of the fridge. But you can warm it in the microwave for 45 seconds for a hot and hearty first meal of the day. And look, if you want to throw on a few mini chocolate chips for good measure, I’m not gonna stop you!
