Classic vodka lemonade is kicked up with the addition of rich limoncello and spicy chile liqueur. A refreshing poolside cocktail that may be a bit too easy to drink!
Cheers! I’ve finally convinced Brandon (aka @dadacookstoo) to let me start sharing all of his crazy delicious cocktail creations here on the blog. One of the things I love most about Brandon is that when he does something, he does it exquisitely, especially when it comes to food and drinks. The man can cook and cocktail craft like a pro and I consider myself pretty darn lucky to be the first to reap the amazingness.
I can’t believe this is the first cocktail recipe I’m sharing on the blog. We love great cocktails and have so much fun creating and enjoying them with each other and friends. I might even venture to say that we’ve become cocktail snobs, but in a good way. If I’m going to drink a cocktail, I want it to be great! I don’t want some overly sweet pre-made mix in it, or on the flip side, just liquor, lime and soda water for a flavorless waste of a drink. I want a well-balanced and thoughtfully-crafted cocktail that I literally ooh and aah over as I drink it or I’m sending it back. ;);)
Okay, okay, now you know how passionate we are about our cocktails so you can trust me when I say these cocktails I’ll be sharing with you in our NEW! Cocktail Series are AMAZING! Let’s get the party started with this Zesty Lemonade…
It’s one of the most refreshing cocktails. So perfect for summer sipping! Although I have to say we have a hard time just slowly sipping this cocktail because it’s soooo good!
Vodka, lemon juice, chile liqueur, limoncello, simple syrup and a little sparkling water all come together in a perfectly sweetened and slightly spiced drink that’s great to make for one or a crowd.
If you’re not on the cocktail making train yet, hop aboard! This Zesty Lemonade is a great one to start with. It will WOW! you and whoever you choose to cheers it with!
Enjoy!
xoxo,
Zesty Lemonade
