Amazingly Fluffy Waffles – Eat With Your Eyes


Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups flour, shifted,3 teaspoons baking powder,1/2 teaspoon salt,2 teaspoons sugar,2 cups milk,2 eggs, separated,1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

  1. Grease and heat waffle iron as directed by manufacturer.
  2. In a large bowl, stir flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Individually add milk, beaten egg yolks, and butter.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gently fold into mixture.
  5. When waffle iron is heated, pour some mixture into center and spread to within 1 inch of edge.
  6. Bake as directed. .
  7. When cooked, loosen from waffle iron and serve immediately
