Pan seared steaks seasoned in a cocoa (aka chocolate), chipotle and coffee seasoning with a side of blistered shishito peppers!

ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa chipotle seasoning (see below)
  • 4 (6 ounce) steaks (such as strip loins, rib eye, tenderloin, etc.)
  • 1 pound shishito peppers
directions
  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add the steaks, seasoned with the cocoa chipotle seasoning, and sear on both sides until the desired level of doneness is achieved, about 2-4 minutes per side, before setting aside.
  2. Add the shishito peppers to the skillet and sear until lightly charred on all sides
