How cute is this bunny-shaped veggie and hummus board?! It’s such a simple way to serve a healthy snack or appetizer for the holiday. Easter is already full of sweet treats from the egg hunts and all the desserts, so let’s offer a special treat that’s healthy to balance it all out.

I made this Bunny Snack Board back in early March so I could share the inspiration with y’all well before Easter. I created it back when we still had plans to spend Easter with our families up in Oklahoma. We enjoyed it as a side dish with dinner that night and we all gobbled it up. So fresh and delicious! And even though we’re no longer going to Oklahoma to celebrate the day with our extended family, we’re still looking forward to recreating this board as a family to enjoy here at home on Easter Sunday!

It’s so easy to create and would be such a fun activity to do as a family. A plate of hummus is garnished to look like the bunny’s face and surrounded by a variety of fresh veggies with crackers shaped to look like the bunny’s ears. Every bunny is sure to enjoy it!

I built this snack board on a rimmed 20” x 13” wood board. The round rimmed plate for the hummus face in the middle of the board is 8.5” in diameter. I got them both from Target.

The Bunny’s face is the rimmed plate full of hummus with black olive eyes and mouth, a tomato nose, and asparagus whiskers.

His ears are made out of round pita crackers from Trader Joe’s with red bell pepper slices in the middle of each one.

He’s surrounded by broccoli, celery, radishes, petite whole carrots, black olives, asparagus, and cauliflower. And to just add to the cuteness, I couldn’t help but put a broccoli bowtie on him with a cherry tomato as the center. Oh so adorable!

And that’s all there is to it, my friends! Easy, festive and yummy yum!

I hope you get a chance to make and enjoy it with your family this Easter. And if not this Easter, then hopefully you can save it as inspiration for next year. If you do recreate it, be sure to snap a picture and tag me on Instagram @thebakermama so I can see! ? I just love seeing how inspired and creative y’all get with the ideas I share.

Wishing you a wonderful Easter!

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 9 celery hearts, each cut into thirds
  • 6 radishes, sliced thinly
  • 10-12 petite whole carrots
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag cauliflower
