Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons ice water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and paprika. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the grated cheese and mix well.
- Gradually add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together and can be formed into a ball.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
- Cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter or a sharp knife.
- Place the crackers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
