Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken is a simple and flavor packed meal. With only a few ingredients and minimal effort you don’t even have to turn on the oven for a great weeknight dish!
The heat and humidity has officially gotten to me. OFFICIALLY. Today just walking from the car into the store gave me sweat in places that SHOULD NOT BE SWEATING.
Sorry about that visual.
Anyhow, after shopping, working, and living life in general all while it’s infinity degrees outside, the last thing I am really interested in doing is coming home and turning on the oven to a thousand degrees to cook dinner. Blah. No.
Enter slow cooker.
And today’s slow cooker recipe is CRAZY easy and packed with tons of flavor. Really only a few ingredients brings you this sweet, sticky chicken that is perfect over rice, noodles, or some veggies!
All you do is mix up some soy sauce, BBQ sauce, honey, garlic, and crushed red pepper!
Season some boneless chicken breasts with salt and pepper…
Place them in the slow cooker and top with the sauce!
Cook this on high for 3 hours, or on low for 5 (ish). The trick is to not cook them so long they shred…even though that would be delicious too! I like to enjoy this as whole breasts, but you do you.
And the more sauce, the merrier!!
Enjoy!!
