Whip Up These Delicious Homemade Granola Bars for a Healthy Snack

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raw pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips, optional


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, almonds, pecans, and coconut.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract, and sea salt over low heat. Stir until everything is melted and combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients. Mix until everything is well combined and coated.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan. Use the back of a spoon or a spatula to ensure it’s evenly spread and pressed down.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.
  8. Optional: sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of the bars while they’re still warm from the oven to melt them slightly.
