Triple Chocolate Cookie Bars – Eat With Your Eyes

Ingredients: 1 tsp baking soda,4 oz bittersweet chocolate chips,2 large eggs,2 cup all-purpose flour,2¼ cup all-purpose flour,½ cup granulated sugar,2 tbsp heavy whipping cream,½ cup light brown sugar,½ cup light brown sugar,¼ cup 0% plain greek yogurt,½ tsp salt,10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips,½ cup unsalted butter, softened,1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder,1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.Coat a 9 x 13 inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Combine flour and cocoa in large mixing bowl with a whisk.In a mixer cream the butter and sugar.
  3. Add in the yogurt and blend until combined.
  4. Add in the flour mixture, blending just until combined.Press mixture with fingers into even layer over the bottom of the pan.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.Cream butter and sugar together in a mixer.
  6. Add eggs, vanilla, and yogurt; blend until combined.Slowly add in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Mix until combined.Stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Spread dough onto warm crust and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Let cool at least 10 minutes.In a small saucepan combine bitter-sweet chocolate and heavy whipping cream over medium heat.Stir constantly until chocolate is melted. It should look smooth and shiny.
  10. Drizzle over cookie bars.
  11. Cut bars in 7 strips on the long side and divide into 4 sections on the shorter side of the pan.Makes 28 bars.
