- 1 loaf Italian bread, sliced
- 4 ripe Roma tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven until lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and black pepper.
